Hey,
I am pretty sure that you all know that we have to design a light. A few post back I shared with you my nature glows board where I've put some pictures of animals that produce bioluminescent bacteria, which makes them glow.
I didn't tell you guys that this is my idea to use that bacteria to make my lamp. I am very excited about my idea and my teacher pointed me towards this design Teresa Van Dongen, who actually used this bacteria in her lamp. I guess we have similar minds :) This video of her lamp Ambio is amazing and this will give you a hint of my lamp.
Teresa van Dongen is an Amsterdam based designer. The bacteria that's inside the glass tube only lives 3 days and after that it will die.
